Children’s Fellowship of India
CFI is home to a growing number of orphaned boys, or those whose families are unwilling or unable to care for them.
The project started in 2001 and presently has around 200 children in its care. Members of the church have visited the project in recent years and a number of the children have individual sponsors from the fellowship.
Dedicated local staff provide for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the children aged from 3 – 18 years of age, in modern purpose built accommodation. More recently a primary school was opened on site and the number of year groups is planned to expand progressively over time. Those children not yet taught on site attend the village school a short walk away.
